Chris Maxsted
Chief of Staff
Chris joined IMPOWER consulting back in June 2022 from HM Treasury where he was Head of Adult Social Care and Health Spending.
With a decade in the civil service (plus four years as a football statistician), Chris brings a wealth of government experience as well as an eye for financial detail. He has a real passion for improving public services and having spent ten years in Whitehall enjoys supporting IMPOWER to deliver change on the ground where it matters most.
At IMPOWER, Chris is responsible for helping to develop the business’ strategy, with both commercial and leadership responsibilities. Chris also supports our delivery teams to drive change and better outcomes that cost less for our clients.
Outside of work he retains an interest in football statistics and boring people (his words) about the time he ran over 100 miles across Eastern Europe to raise money for charity.
